The Cultural Association of Pitsidia- Matala was founded in 1982 with its base in Pitsidia, Heraklion, Crete.

The association’s aim is the development and positive use of the spiritual foundations and the enhancement of the village’s cultural and spiritual activities so as to achieve full cultural renaissance within the boundaries of democratic and cultural values.
