St. George the Methisti Feast

As done every year on this specific day, the 3 of November,the Association, along with the whole village, celebrates the village’s protector, St. George the Methistis, with a feast and plenty of alcohol in the association’s recreational room.
This saint is called Methisti (Drinker) for the simple reason that the day set aside,inorder to honor him, falls on the same day as the opening of barrels of wine throughout Greece.
